The Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) is deeply committed to fostering peace and harmony across northern Nigeria. Our Peacebuilding programs aim to address the root causes of conflict and promote lasting solutions through dialogue, advocacy, and community engagement. By uniting diverse stakeholders, we strive to create an environment where peaceful coexistence and national unity can thrive.
AYF’s Peacebuilding programs have successfully reduced tensions, rebuilt trust, and strengthened relationships among diverse groups across northern Nigeria. Our efforts have inspired communities to embrace non-violence and work together toward shared goals.
OUR APPROCH:
- Promoting Dialogue: Facilitating conversations among community leaders, religious groups, youth, and other stakeholders to address conflicts and misunderstandings.
- Conflict Resolution Training: Equipping individuals and groups with the tools and skills needed to resolve disputes amicably.
- Community Engagement: Involving local communities in developing strategies that promote peace and prevent violence.
- Advocacy for Peace: Raising awareness about the importance of unity and tolerance through campaigns and outreach programs.
